Stick with it Establishing an investment orientated culture is not something that can be achieved overnight. The main reason that business process initiatives fail is that senior management is not prepared to stick with pain of making that change happen. Moving to an inclusive development methodology, means that some day to day operational resource has to be diverted to product creation. This is not easy at first, however ongoing review and support that identifies and tackles issues promptly will see that processes and cultural change become embedded . As products emerge with minimal teething troubles and expertise on those products diffused into the organisation, a new status quo is achieved based on "how can we improve further?" rather than "which problem do I tackle first?". © Procentricity Ltd 2003 |
